enlightened motherhood, among other things – thought-provoking things to think about… :)
In the last several months, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about marketing execution for a few different companies that I’m interested in working with. During my research and many attempts at creating marketing proposals which look professional and correctly portray my ideas, I was suddenly hit with a string of “E” words… 🙂
Engage – It’s not enough to just share information and promote your brand; engaging in conversations, asking questions, and making your company seem “human” is what’s setting the most successful businesses above the rest… Speak WITH your people, not TO them!
Educate – Educate your prospects and clients! Don’t just advertise; these days, consumers want information. Now. And lots of it! You will establish credibility as an expert in your industry and gain trust from prospects and clients alike.
Entertain – Share something so wonderful and intriguing that everyone else will want to share it as well! Go a little off-topic if you have to. Share industry trends, motivating quotes, relevant photos, videos, and eye-catching content that’s quick to read.
Engage. Engage more. Engage again. Then continue to nourish your new-found relationships! Embark upon a successful professional journey!
Hope this was helpful for someone… 🙂
I love the Entertain. It gets boring when companies post the same boring things over and over. I think Oreos are so successful because they’ll come up with funny, witty ads out of no where that people will share. Or like KMart’s new ad ‘Ship Happens.”
Awesome article.
